The demo was a dramatic final chapter and so much fun to go to with you. I was happy for Sutanto that it got on the front page of the Jkt Post and the Globe. I wonder if there was a Human Rights Day event that matched that anywhere in the world.

Wendy and Ibu attended long march fo 60st Anniversary of Human's Right.


Yuni, I feel really lucky to have been able to have seen you three times while I was there. Having you show up at the door at Ella's was a great welcome, dinner at your house a big treat and then the demo. I was glad that Daphne and Joan got to meet you too. Joan mentioned several times how much she appreciated talking to you. (I think she has sent you an e-mail). I look forward to reading your dissertation. It'll be a good way to keep in touch and for me to learn more.

It's a bit of a shock being back. Minus 10, dark at 4:30. I am all bundled up even inside the house. I think of you sitting beside your pond and your fountain looking at green leaves and feeling the warmth of the tropics. Maybe you are listening to Vinda ( is it Finda?) playing the piano or chatting with Fikra or Muchlis. Great memories of you all.

Even we are not connected in the same work anymore, but we try to treat and keep the history as a needle of the clock, never stops..continues...
